The Guest House team is an extended family – our unique backgrounds and personalities work together to create something special for our guests. Here are some faces you may see when you visit...

The Kearneys
Kevin, Amanda, and daughter Maeve have lived in the Pacific Northwest since 2011. Transplants from the East Coast, they wanted to live among the tall trees, mountains, and cool waters of this beautiful area. Kevin, a professionally trained chef, has always dreamed of having a neighborhood restaurant where friends and community could come together to share a good meal and a great beer that was locally sourced. Amanda manages commercial real estate and works full time outside of the restaurant but supports administrative requirements. Maeve is a happy and healthy 5th grader enjoying all of the things being 10 yrs old has to offer.

Mike Christopher
General Manager
A Washington native, Mike was raised in a small town on the Olympic Peninsula. After receiving his Associates of Science degree in Biology, Mike transferred to the University of Washington to continue his studies. While attending the UW, he began working for Starwood Hotels and was able to gain a wide breadth of experience in hospitality, food service, management and process improvement. Deciding to make a change after a 10-year tenure with Starwood, he took a position at a restaurant in Pike Place Market. This role introduced him to fine dining service and food and wine pairings. This exposure and education in wine would ignite a strong interest and drive him to expand his knowledge in this area. His next role working as Front of the House Manager for a private dinner club offered a unique position to polish his fine dining skills and the proper steps of service, while also managing a world-class recognized wine program. When Mike is not working, you can find him on a local golf course, working to improve his game. His is the proud father to his daughter Drew and lives in North Seattle with his wife Heather.
